Spring Clean (again!)

So, like over a year ago I said I was going to have a spring clean and tidy up all my stray dA accounts, but I never actually got round to it. I might be finally getting round to it??

I haven't been drawing recently due to mental health stuff and job stuff and general life stuff, but as that's starting to settle down I'm finding that I'm feeling more motivated again (even if I haven't actually... made anything yet lol). I'm still into my photography though, and I have been taking the odd picture and it's that that's made me feel like I want to come back here?

So I'm hoping if I can throw everything up on this account, it'll motivate me to do more in general because I'll have somewhere to put it? And there won't be the stress of having to manage multiple accounts? That's the idea, anyway. We'll see.

But either way, with any luck I will actually start using this site again, lol.

Having a Spring Clean!

Hi all!

I'm planning on having a bit of a tidy up of my account in a little while! This is mainly going to involve me uploading a lot of stuff from my secondary accounts that have been left more or less abandoned because of how bad I am at maintaining multiple accounts...... . . . .

Basically what happened is that I created a couple of other accounts to separate my drawings and stuff from my photography and my pixelling because I was afraid that I'd start uploading so much that I'd be flooding my account and it would be kind of chaotic? But then when I actually made the accounts I got so overwhelmed by having to maintain them that... I... never actually upload anything to them anymore. And I also forget to check my notifications and then log on to see some massive number and I'm like 'eeehhhhhhhhhhh' and I feel really bad because I never reply to people.

So I'm hoping that if I put everything in one place I will feel more motivated to upload stuff and answer messages and whatnot!

Good old-fashioned Naruto fanart. :')
What is your favourite type of art to create?
Does photography count? Probably just photography in general. It's so much more relaxing than drawing for me.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
I would love to be able to use watercolours effectively. Like, right now please.
What was your first favourite?
Unsurprisingly, my first favourite was a SasuNaru shippy comic thing. It was amazing.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Mainly pretty digipaints, I guess?
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
That is a hard question. That I literally cannot answer. Actually, that's a lie and the answer is probably AquaSixio.

Okay, that is a question I literally cannot answer.

oddsocket has a pretty big impact on the state of my room since she moved in with me...
What are your preferred tools to create art?
My beautiful Cintiq. And also my beautiful DSLR. My beautiful tech. :')
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Probably when I'm out on walks? I don't really know; I'm inspired by the strangest things...

A New Year!

So far I think I've already made a good start to the New Year!

So far I have:

Started another Daily Doodle Book. I'm really try-harding at the moment because I was kind of lazy a lot when I had one back in 2013 haha!
Had a mini review at work and was told that I've settled in really well and that I have the potential to move up through the ranks if that's what I want!
Dealt with crises a lot better. Bad things don't feel as world-shattering as they did a year ago.
Reserved my place at this year's Kitacon, so I have that to look forward to in the summer! For the first time ever we're staying for four nights because I won't be broke, so that's really exciting!
Planned my 21st birthday! A friend at work is taking me to see Wicked in Bristol (thank you for touring at the perfect time omg!)

I'm still doing Pokeddexy really slowly. I have a Swirlix in my Doodle Book that I will finish up. I also have loads of other things that I want to finish as well, and since I've got another Premium Membership I don't want to let it go to waste!

So yeah, here's to a fantastic 2015! Hopefully it will continue to be waaaaayy better than last year!

Pokeddexy Update

I started my new job on Saturday and my 7.5 contracted hours swiftly turned into SO MUCH OVERTIME. So unfortunately I have barely even started on Day 3 due to being completely exhausted.

I haven't given up on it quite yet, but it is going to be hideously delayed and I don't know how much I'll be able to do.

In other news, I'm writing this from the new app so I guess we'll see how that goes, haha.
